Progress is being made, but there is a
long way to go. Until there is equal recognition for all, those
in the LGBT community need to create for themselves, what others
take for granted.
A study recently released by the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce,
revealed that LGBT adults are less comfortable sharing intimate financial details
with professional advisors than those in the straight community.
The result, many members of the LGBT community don’t have competent financial
professionals to help them reach the goal of financial independence.
