Our firm is looking for a self-motivated and positive person to join our IT staff. This person should have ground-floor skills and knowledge of computers and current technologies, as well as being able to communicate clearly and possess good organizational skills. This person should possess a desire to be trained in many areas concerning IT, as well as be self-motivated to learn on their own given the proper tools and resources.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Schedule group training (in-office and online) to teach end-users how to use the technologies available to our firm. These technologies would include:
a) Basic use of the Microsoft Office 365 software suite (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
b) Microsoft ‘Skype for Business’, formerly known as “Lync”
c) Basic use of Windows operating systems. MAC a plus
d) “Box” cloud file sharing
e) SalesForce CRM
f) Smartphone and Tablet usage
Respond to Helpdesk requests, both in-office and remotely. These tasks would include:
g) Troubleshoot issues with Windows 7/8/10 and/or iOS X
h) Troubleshoot issues using websites, browser issues
i) Troubleshoot printing issues
j) Troubleshoot sync issues with smartphones
k) Schedule and installation of software and technologies
l) Help maintain spreadsheets of IT logs and reports
m) Help stages new laptops and desktops for agency
- Ground-floor skills and knowledge of computers and current technologies
