Company (MassMutual) and represent other
fine companies. Founded in 1851, MassMutual established an office in the Cleveland
area in 1886. Since then, it has grown and thrived - surviving wars, depressions,
recessions and changing market conditions.

not have shareholders. Instead, its policy owners and members share in its ownership.
This generally means if you are insured under a MassMutual whole life insurance
policy, for example, you are a member entitled to vote for the Company’s board
of directors and may be eligible to share in dividends the Company may declare.
