Get ready to be “razzled dazzled”
The Beck Center for the Arts, with whom Skylight Financial Group has a long association, is to present this coming May, an original and inclusive musical theater performance of Razzle Dazzle XIV: The Four Gees: Glorious Groups of Guys and Girls. The production, in association with the Cuyahoga County Board of Developmental Disabilities, will benefit the Beck Center’s Department of Creative Arts Therapies which, each week, assists 1,500 individuals with a variety of special needs by enhancing their quality of life through the creative arts.
It’s a performance not to be missed as you’ll be swooned, crooned and boogie-woogied through the decades to the delightful sounds of the Mills Brothers, the Andrews Sisters, all the way to the Backstreet Boys, Destiny’s Child and One Direction. The cast and crew are members of the Rocky River Adult Activities Center's talented, inclusive musical theater program.
Ryan McKean, Financial Planner in Skylight’s Special Needs Planning Team and board member of the Beck Center, said “Please come along and support what will be a hugely entertaining performance which will have you reminiscing with Razzle Dazzle! I’m so inspired by the tremendous work of the Beck Center’s Department of Creative Arts which helps so many individuals with special needs maximize their potential by using art, dance/movement and music as a therapeutic tool.”
The performance will take place on Friday May 2 2014 at 7:30 pm. Tickets for the opening night are $15. The Rocky River & Maple Heights Adult Activities Centers Choirs will open the evening with an inspiring musical performance leading into the opening of Razzle Dazzle XIV. A post-show reception with a meet-and-greet by the performers is included. On Saturday, May 3 at 3:30 & 7:30pm there will be encore performances. Free admission - donations accepted.
