Meet Skylight Intern Michael Kerr

6/12/2017

MICHAEL KERR

College: The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business

Why did you want to intern at Skylight?

I want to work alongside professionals, some of the industries best, and model myself around their merits to become the best that I can be.

Tell us something you are really good at?

Really good at being really good…Just kidding. Expert skier, swimmer.

A fun fact about you:

Low-key nerd.

Your favourite place to hang out in Cleveland or Columbus:

Cleveland: the city (sports atmosphere, lake, bars, restaurants, put-in-bay, metroparks)

Columbus: OSU campus/stadiums, the Brewery District, and German Village

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Golf, video games, time spent with friends and family, reading/researching, writing

What’s the most adventurous thing you’ve ever done?

Probably backcountry skiing out west. Passing a red skull-and-crossbones sign, along with numerous other warning signs telling you this is your last opportunity to turn back, had the nerves rolling.

Who would you most like to meet – alive or dead?

Hard to say…any significant figure of the era, from the ancient Romans and onward.  .

Where do you want to be 10 years from now?

Living comfortably, enjoying both life and my job, building upon nine years of prior success in the financial industry. .
