Meet Skylight's New Partner Bill Crozier
What does it mean to you to become a partner at the firm?
It was an honor and privilege to be named partner. I also see the recognition as of years of dedicated service to my clients being manifested through this great firm.
How do you feel your appointment can be helpful to your practice as well as Skylight Financial Group as a whole?
As far as Skylight is concerned, it shows a solidification of the core infrastructure of the firm and a better foundation so that we can experience future growth. For myself, it is a confidence builder that I can communicate to my clients as well as a way to build client relationships and show long-term stability.
What made you want to work in this field?
I started right out of school and have never had a different line of work. I saw my dad build a very successful business and saw how he took care of his clients.
What advice would you offer others looking to advance their financial services career?
It has to become your passion and consume your whole being. I would be working 24/7 for as many years as possible. Try to tell your story to as many people as you can. Put your clients first and have a service mentality.
Let’s assume you never entered the workplace of the financial world, what was that one job you thought you wanted?
FBI / Police
Tell us something about you that people will not find in your ‘official’ bio that shows a side unknown to us and the people you might know.
I had a football tryout with the Canadian Football League when I graduated from college. When I’m not working you can you find me in the mosh pit at any Metallica or Slayer concert.
