Mighty “Craic” at Skylight’s Annual St. Patrick’s Day Party

Skylight’s much-loved annual St Patrick’s Day Party got into full swing on March 10 with guests celebrating all things Irish in Crop Bistro & Bar which was dramatically bathed in green lighting.  Around 600 partygoers, many of whom, donned the “green”, were treated to Irish-inspired appetizers and drinks, Baileys Irish coffee and Jameson Irish Whiskey tastings and stilt walkers.

The amazing Cleveland-based band, The Portersharks, entertained with the best of traditional Irish music and had everyone tapping their feet and singing along.  A special “surprise” performance by the impressive Cleveland Police Department Pipe and Drum Band was met with rapturous applause as they made a grand entrance and filled Crop Bistro with their rousing music.   Downstairs in the bank vault, guests could also chill out and listen to the DJ playing contemporary music.

“This year’s party couldn’t have been better!  A great time was had by all and it was good to meet up and have fun with old friends and make new ones.  The Portersharks were a great hit and everyone loved the “surprise” appearance by the Cleveland Police Department Pipe and Drum Band. I have to say it’s the first time I’ve smuggled a group of bag pipers into a restaurant through a kitchen! The photo booth also created a great buzz and allowed us to capture fun moments and memories.  What a night!” said Mark Owens, chief marketing officer at Skylight Financial Group.
