New Farmers Market, sponsored by Skylight, comes to Ohio City!

As the season for local farmers markets gets into full swing, Skylight is delighted to sponsor the new Farmers Market in Ohio City which will run each Sunday from July 27 – Sep 28.  The North Union Farmers Market, which has the oldest and biggest collection of open-air markets in Northeast Ohio, will come to Ohio City for the first time and offer a wide variety of fresh, healthy, locally produced, prepared and baked foods.  With between 15 to 20 certified producer-only farmers, this market will not only provide great food but a place where the community can gather.

“It’s a real joy to be able to support Ohio City’s Farmers Market which not only gives people access to fresh, healthy and locally produced food but also promotes our environment and our economy.  The market is perfectly located in our “foodie” neighborhood of Ohio which is bustling with restaurants, many of which already embrace local produce.  And since neither the West Side Market nor the Ohio City Farm Stand are open on Sundays, it’s a great win for our neighborhood,” said Dan Brennan, chief marketing officer of Skylight Financial Group

Check out photos from the first market on July 27.

If you are interested in tasting some succulent farm-fresh greens or simply enjoying the vibrant market atmosphere, try out this open-air Farmers Market on Sundays between 11am and 2pm.   The market will be located in the parking lot of Skylight Financial Group.  Further details can be found in the flyer
