Olga Starr features in the 2014 Who’s Who of GLBT Columbus

Congratulations to Olga Starr, Associate in Skylight’s Columbus Office, who has joined a community of honorees listed in the 2014 Who’s Who of GLBT Columbus.  The honor recognizes Olga’s significant contribution to the Columbus community where, coming from Eastern Europe as an asylee, she has continued the fight for human rights through volunteering for Stonewall and Why Marriage Matters Ohio, in addition to working with the LGBT community as an educator and a financial expert.

At the unveiling of the book at a reception on Monday December 8 at the Lincoln Theatre, Olga said “I am greatly honored to be recognized among so many others who have accomplished so much in the LGBT community. This publication helps bring us together, celebrates our achievements and let’s everyone see how we are making our mark in Central Ohio.”

Rob Fichter, Regional Manager in Columbus, said “Many congratulations to Olga who is a true inspiration and role model.  Olga’s story is a compelling one.  She gives so much to our community and is incredibly passionate about promoting human rights and educating our society.  She is a very deserving honoree.”
