Congratulations to Olga Starr, financial planner in our Columbus office, who has recently picked up the Increase Community Development Corporation’s (Increase CDC) Micro Entrepreneur of the Year Business-to Business Award 2015 in recognition of her tremendous work in providing support, encouragement and business planning to local businesses.

Increase CDC, is a non-profit organization that provides business training and capital for entrepreneurs and start-up businesses in central Ohio.  Since 1999, they have offered a formal business planning and training program for those wanting to start businesses in the area.  In that time, they have trained over 500 individuals and assisted in starting over 100 businesses.  The annual Micro Entrepreneur Awards celebrate entrepreneurs in the community who are exemplary role models for business owners.

On receiving the award, Olga said “I am delighted to have received this award.  Increase CDC do fantastic work on the ground to help train and provide one-on-one consulting to small business owners – anything from developing a business plan, loan packaging to marketing and advertising.  These awards recognize the amazing contributions of the many talented entrepreneurs throughout Central Ohio and it’s great to be honored alongside them.”
