Ryan Flynn of Skylight appointed Vice President of the Community Computer Alliance

Ryan Flynn, financial planner at Skylight Financial Group Columbus, was recently named Vice President of the Community Computer Alliance (CCA) which bridges the gap between technology and the community.  The CCA, a non-profit organization in Columbus, takes old donated computers, printers, cell phones, etc. and either refurbishes and donates them on to underfunded agencies in the community within the outreach program, or recycles items if they are unsalvageable and donates the proceeds. In turn, the Donors receive a tax deduction for their donation.

CCA also supports a Job Readiness Program that works with multiple agencies throughout the community (such as Embracing Autism, Food for Good Thought, Green Leaf Job Training Services and Columbus State Community College) to employ, train, and teach individuals with disabilities how to take apart computers and refurbish them.

On his appointment, Ryan said, “I am delighted to be Vice President of the CCA which is a full circle non-profit organization that gives back to the community that donates to us.  It’s great to see computers being donated to after-school programs, domestic violence shelters, senior citizen facilities, individuals with disabilities and low-income families.  Also there’s fantastic work being done through the one-of-a-kind Job Readiness Program.  I’m very glad to be part of this.”

Ryan Flynn is a registered representative of and offers securities, investment advisory and financial planning services through MML Investor Services, LLC. Member SIPC.  OSJ. 2012 W. 25th Street, Suite 900, Cleveland OH 44113. 216-621-5680. CRN201511-180370.
