Skylight embraces the power of music to support those with special needs

We all know how powerful music can be in our lives.  It has a way of reaching us, inspiring us, touching our souls and helping us connect. To help spread these powerful effects with individuals with special needs, Skylight Financial Group’s Special Needs Planning Team, is proud to be a Centennial Council Partner of The Music Settlement and the exclusive presenting sponsor for its Arts for Us concert series.  The first of the four concerts will be held on March 22 featuring Two Guys and Loop Pedal with Alfredo Guerreri (pictured right) and Chris Hatten.  Taking place at Cleveland’s premiere listening room, the Bop Stop, this unique concert series is for individuals with special needs and their families and admission is free.

“We are thrilled to be supporting The Music Settlement which is a wonderful organization that massively impacts the lives of individuals with special needs - some for many decades. The gains are remarkable in terms of improvements in motor skills and communication skills and helping individuals build their self-esteem.  I’m really looking forward to the first concert and I’m delighted that it’s being held in the Bop Stop in Ohio City where the arts have really taken off and energized the neighborhood,” said Dan Brennan, Chief Marketing Officer at Skylight Financial Group.

The Music Settlement, which dates back to 1912, offers music therapy, early childhood education, and music instruction to people of all ages and levels of experience in Greater Cleveland and Northeast Ohio. Please visit their website for further information.

If you are interested in attending the concert (which takes place from 3-5pm on March 22), admission is free but reservations are required and seating is limited.  Click here for further details.
