Skylight sponsors Inaugural Providence House Golf Outing

Skylight Financial Group is honoured to be supporting Providence House’s first golf outing and clambake which is taking place on October 5 at the beautiful Westwood Country Club, Rocky River. Providence House, a non-profit organization located in Ohio City, is one of the nation’s first crisis nurseries offering shelter and care to children at risk for abuse and neglect.  Founded in 1981, the organization, has over the last 34 years, expanded it services in response to the needs of our community.  Today their services go beyond emergency shelter for children and includes a range of case management and supportive services for both children and their families, with a goal to stabilize, strengthen and reunify families and build a safer communities.

Ryan McKean, Financial Planner and Providence House Board Member, said “Providence House is a wonderful organization right on our doorstep who have cared for and helped thousands of at-risk children and families through their unique Crisis Intervention and Family Preservation Programs.  They provide a safe haven for vulnerable children and work to keep families together thus reducing the need for the public child welfare system to step in. We are delighted to be supporting our neighbors in their first golf outing and clambake and wish them every success. We are really looking forward to the day and a good round of golf!”
