Philanthropy at Work

The Skylight Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Skylight Financial Group.  The Foundation, which has 501(c)(3) status, is a non-profit organization established to support other non-profit and charitable organizations in Ohio.

The Skylight Foundation provides donations with the ultimate aim of: Skylight Foundation Image

  • improving quality of life and enriching the communities we serve
  • providing funds for research
  • providing services to organizations and families tackling disadvantage

Our History

The Foundation was formed in 2009 and formerly known as the Michael Carter Foundation. In its five years of existence, the Michael Carter Foundation supported many non-profit organizations within the special needs community. The scope of the Foundation has since been extended to support a much broader range of non-profit and charitable organizations with the goal of empowering people and making a positive and lasting contribution to the communities we serve.
